Tours and Visits
Each year we organise a programme of national and international tours and a series of one day local visits for small groups. In May 2024 we toured Suffolk and visited Holland in September. We also had a wonderful day visit to Compton Verney in April followed by a day at Kelmscott Manor and Buscot Park in September. We are now planning the 2024/5 programme so watch out for further details from November. Below are outline details of our 2025 tours to North Yorkshire and to Paris, including the Chateaux and Art of Northern France.

The splendours of North Yorkshire
11-15 May 2025
Five days to explore the diverse history, art and culture of one of the most beautiful regions of Britain. The tour will take you across wild moorland and picturesque dales to visit spa towns, cathedral cities, grand manor houses and evocative abbeys. Click here for more information.
Paris, Giverny, the Chateaux and Art of Northern France
11-15 September 2025
This tour takes in some of France’s most colourful moments in history with stunning art and splendid palaces at every turn. Not to be missed are a guided tour of Monet’s garden and the newly re-opened Notre Dame Cathedral.
We are also planning a programme of shorter day visits for 2025. The details will be shown below as the programme is finalised.
Theatre Royal Bath
Friday 24 January 2025
The guided tour of the Theatre Royal on the 24 January is now fully booked. We are now trying to arrange a second visit for members during February. The visit will last for one hour and the cost will be £10 per person. You will need to make your own way to the theatre.
