Matthew Williams holds degrees from the Universities of Nottingham and Manchester. A Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, he was Curator of Cardiff Castle for nearly 30 years. Recent publications include a major book on Cardiff Castle and the Marquesses of Bute. Before becoming an accredited lecturer Matthew was a programme secretary and a chairman of The Arts Society.
