Marc Allum is a freelance art and antiques journalist, writer and broadcaster. He is a long-term specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow. He also runs a fine art valuation and consultancy service. A self-confessed “collectaholic” he connects with history through then interpretation and pursuit of objects and their origins. Marc has lectured for many years to a wide range of organisations and is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.
